Dr. Lorie Roman is an entrepreneur who owns her own Functional Medicine practice, FoodScript, LLC  since 2011 in the North Tampa area.

Additionally, she holds a fee basis position at Bay Pines VA Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida where she completed her pharmacy practice residency in 1998. She specialized in disease-state management of diabetes, hypertension, lipids and anticoagulation for 15 yrs.

She is a graduate of Mercer University School of Pharmacy, completed several integrative nutrition certificate programs with NOVA Southeastern College of Pharmacy and is currently working on CCN credentialing.

As owner of FoodScript, she promotes food sensitivity awareness and educates her patients on a clinical level utilizing dietary food antigen testing and recommending pharmaceutical grade supplements.  Her primary focus is pediatric nutrition, autoimmune support and preconception health.  She additionally offers pharmacogenetic testing and vitamin D level optimization.  www.foodscript.info

Dr. Roman has presented at Nova Southeastern College of Pharmacy Certificate programs and is a preceptor with Belmont University College of Pharmacy.
