Utilizing New Techniques to Improve Organic Acid Testing Accuracy and Reliability
September 26, 2025 – 2PM EST
Join us for a deep dive into the evolving science of Organic Acid Testing. Learn how LC/MS/MS technology has advanced the accuracy and reproducibility of OATs, what markers and quality indicators to look for, and how to optimize interpretation in clinical practice. Whether you’re new to OATs or looking to sharpen your approach, this session will give you practical tools and insight.
Learning Objectives:
- Describe how LC/MS/MS technology enhances the accuracy and reliability of organic acid testing in clinical practice.
- Identify key factors that can contribute to variability or unreproducibility in organic acid test results.
- Recognize essential metabolic markers that should be included in a comprehensive and clinically useful organic acid test.

Matthew Pratt-Hyatt, PhD
Matthew Pratt-Hyatt, PhD, received his PhD in cellular and molecular biology from the University of Michigan. He has over two dozen publications in well-known research journals such as PNAS and Cell Metabolism. He is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at KBMO Molecular Diagnostics. He is focused on developing educational programs for those practitioners wanting to become experts in the testing, diagnosing and treatment of the negative health effects caused by toxic exposure. He specializes in developing tools that examine factors at the interface between genetics and toxicology. His work is bringing new insight into how genes and toxicants interact and how that may to lead to mental health disorders, chronic health issues, and metabolism disorders.
