Dr. Jaclyn Chasse-Smeaton, N.D. is a licensed naturopathic physician who is passionate about applying her clinical and technical knowledge, strong communication skills, and leadership skills to advance the fields of nutrition and medicine. She is a well-respected clinician, adjunct faculty member, published author, and sought-after speaker in areas including integrative healthcare practice and policy, nutrition and clinical medicine, wellness and lifestyle therapies, and more.

Dr. Chasse currently serves as the VP, Medical Education and Wellevate for Emerson Ecologics, a tech & nutrition company working to bring together patient outcomes and reporting with good nutrition and successful clinical practice. There, she is responsible for the medical, educational, R&D, quality, and regulatory functions. Her expertise includes customer and employee education, brand positioning, technical writing, product knowledge and technology innovation, and quality and regulatory affairs. In her position on the executive team, she also serves unique roles guiding and implementing key initiatives across sales, business development, product development, and marketing functions including acquisition and management of key account acquisition and management.

Professionally, Dr. Chasse is very involved in both practitioner and industry groups. She is President Emeritus of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and has served in numerous roles including Ambassador for the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine, as a board member of the Integrative Health Policy Consortium and the Institute of Natural Medicine. Additionally, she has served as a Trustee for the American Herbal Products Association. She is the immediate Past-President of the NH Association of Naturopathic Doctors. During her tenure, she successfully coordinated and secured legislation to mandate insurance coverage of services provided by Naturopathic Doctors, increased association revenue and doubled the profitability of the association’s annual conference, and the association also expanded the formulary (prescribing rights) of doctors in the state.

Dr. Chasse enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, and exploring new healthy recipes and nutrition trends in the kitchen.
